Visitor Information

Waiting Rooms

A waiting room is available for families and visitors of patients undergoing surgery or in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Volunteers at the Information Desk or any associate can direct you to these areas.



  • Highland Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU): First floor near the nurses station
  • Highland Medical ICU (MICU): Second floor near the nurses station
  • Highland Day Surgery & Cath Lab: First floor at Day Surgery
  • Highland Cardiovascular Center: First floor off the Day Surgery hallway
  • Bossier Emergency Hospital: Front lobby

Visiting Hours

General Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.


Adult Critical Care Units: CCU on the first floor and ICU on second floor. 9:00 a.m. to

1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.


Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU): Open visitation for parents as the Essential Support Person (ESP).
